This special issue represents the enormous progress made in recent years in the study of leukemia, lymphomas and solid tumors. Thanks to the availability of more sensitive diagnostic expertise and state-of-the-art technology, the research and clinical findings presented here demonstrate some of the most significant advances in cancer genomics. Today, tumors are diagnosed at much earlier stages, thus increasing the success rates and facilitating treatment capabilities, resulting in a much improved prognosis for the patient.
Representing a compendium of information and knowledge that will impact the study of cancer for many years to come, this publication should be read by geneticists, molecular biologists, oncologists, cancer researchers, and clinicians in all areas of medicine
